Minutes
January 4, 2012
The meeting was called to order at 6:36 with the pledge. Members present were Priscilla Andrewski, Scott Haberli, Cathleen Breen, Joan Glase, Sharon Fife and Bonnie Schlott.
Reading of the Minutes – Scott made a motion to accept the Dec minutes, Sharon seconded and carried
Financial Report – there was not report
Communications - we received 2 memberships
Meet the Graduate is now alumni day. It was held today (1/4) and was a success. There is no longer an evening program. They didn’t need any money this year.
Priscilla is going to have Annie send thank you’s for the penny social and look into sending a letter to the paper.
There was a discussion about a bullying program. Perhaps PTSO could sponsor a program.
Joan has 13 discount cards she is going to return to the Elementary PTSO and ask them to rebill us. We got 50 to sell originally.
We asked Sharon if it would be possible to have a student member attend monthly PTSO meetings. She is going to ask at the next student council meeting.
There is nothing going on with the French club. They didn’t need a donation for the babysitting. The students that wanted to have their own fundraiser were told it had to be a group fundraiser. PTSO has nothing to do with this fundraiser either.
The Prom is 4/29. They will be going to Great Adventure again. We have donated $500 in the past towards this. Last year the Lifetouch money was used. We will do this again this year. We don’t know yet how much the Lifetouch money is.
